About the client
Christina Draguilera is London's sequin-soaked Queen of quizzes, camp and chaos. Starting out as The Original Drag Queen Silent Disco Walking Hostess, she now rules the mic as the long-standing host of the legendary Bow Bells pub quiz, where she's been keeping punters laughing (and arguing over answers) for four fabulous years.
Her brand is built on audience interaction, sharp wit, and unforgettable live energy, but her online presence needed a home that matched the personality and made it simple for people to enquire, book, and follow her.
Overview
Christina Draguilera is London's sequin-soaked Queen of quizzes, camp and chaos. Starting out as The Original Drag Queen Silent Disco Walking Hostess, she now rules the mic as the long-standing host of the legendary Bow Bells pub quiz, where she's been keeping punters laughing (and arguing over answers) for four fabulous years.
With a growing profile in the entertainment and events scene, Christina needed a website that could act as a central hub for her brand, a place to showcase who she is, what she does, and how people can book her for events, quizzes, and appearances.
The project focused on creating a bold, personality-led website that captures her camp energy while staying practical and easy to navigate for event bookers, quiz fans, and collaborators.
The challenge
Before the project, Christina's online presence was fragmented across social media and third-party platforms. This made it hard for people to get the full picture or make a direct enquiry. The main challenges were:
A dedicated website would give her brand a proper home and make it easier for the right people to find, understand, and book her.
The objective
The goal was to create a website that felt as bold and memorable as Christina's live performances, while being practical enough for everyday use. Key priorities included:
The focus was on a website that is fun, functional, and easy to update, not a rigid brochure that would feel out of date quickly.
The approach
We started with a short discovery session to understand the brand, the audience, and the main jobs the website needed to do. From there, we structured the site around clarity and personality, then designed and built it to be easy to manage.
The preparation phase covered the brand and structure:
With the structure and direction agreed, we moved into design and build:
The result is a website that feels like Christina, camp, confident, and easy to navigate, while giving bookers a clear path to get in touch.
The results
Christina now has a digital home that reflects her brand and supports her work.
