About Christina Draguilera

Christina Draguilera is London's sequin-soaked Queen of quizzes, camp and chaos. Starting out as The Original Drag Queen Silent Disco Walking Hostess, she now rules the mic as the long-standing host of the legendary Bow Bells pub quiz, where she's been keeping punters laughing (and arguing over answers) for four fabulous years.

Her brand is built on audience interaction, sharp wit, and unforgettable live energy, but her online presence needed a home that matched the personality and made it simple for people to enquire, book, and follow her.

Overview

Project overview

Christina Draguilera is London's sequin-soaked Queen of quizzes, camp and chaos. Starting out as The Original Drag Queen Silent Disco Walking Hostess, she now rules the mic as the long-standing host of the legendary Bow Bells pub quiz, where she's been keeping punters laughing (and arguing over answers) for four fabulous years.

With a growing profile in the entertainment and events scene, Christina needed a website that could act as a central hub for her brand, a place to showcase who she is, what she does, and how people can book her for events, quizzes, and appearances.

The project focused on creating a bold, personality-led website that captures her camp energy while staying practical and easy to navigate for event bookers, quiz fans, and collaborators.

The challenge

Where things were breaking down

Before the project, Christina's online presence was fragmented across social media and third-party platforms. This made it hard for people to get the full picture or make a direct enquiry. The main challenges were:

  • No single destination that explained her full range of hosting and event services
  • Enquiries and bookings came through scattered channels, making them easy to miss
  • Her brand personality was not fully reflected in the existing online touchpoints
  • No clear way for event bookers to understand her style and availability quickly

A dedicated website would give her brand a proper home and make it easier for the right people to find, understand, and book her.

The objective

Structured but simple

The goal was to create a website that felt as bold and memorable as Christina's live performances, while being practical enough for everyday use. Key priorities included:

  • Build a clear, confident website that showcases her personality and services
  • Make it easy for event bookers to understand what she offers and get in touch
  • Create a mobile-first experience that works well for fans coming from social media
  • Establish a platform that can grow with new events, quizzes, and content

The focus was on a website that is fun, functional, and easy to update, not a rigid brochure that would feel out of date quickly.

The approach

Building on a clean foundation

We started with a short discovery session to understand the brand, the audience, and the main jobs the website needed to do. From there, we structured the site around clarity and personality, then designed and built it to be easy to manage.

Preparation

The preparation phase covered the brand and structure:

  • Defined the core pages: about, quizzes, events, bookings, and contact
  • Agreed the tone and visual direction to match Christina's camp and chaotic energy
  • Mapped the user journey from social media discovery to enquiry
  • Gathered content, imagery, and examples of her live hosting style

Configuration

With the structure and direction agreed, we moved into design and build:

  • Designed a responsive website with bold typography and a personality-led layout
  • Built clear service and event pages with straightforward messaging
  • Created a simple contact and booking form to capture enquiries directly
  • Integrated social links and ensured the site worked beautifully on mobile
  • Provided a short handover so the site can be updated as new events and shows are added

The result is a website that feels like Christina, camp, confident, and easy to navigate, while giving bookers a clear path to get in touch.

The results
